Mawthooq (موثوق)
The licence that lets you advertise to an audience in Saudi Arabia. If you post advertising content on a registered account, this applies to you — whether or not you were paid.
Official sourceWho needs one
Anyone carrying out advertising activity in the Kingdom on their own registered account. The point most people miss: the requirement is not about payment. Promoting a product in exchange for a free item, or as a favour, is still advertising activity.
Your licence on Reachoro
Reachoro does not check licences: holding one is your duty under the terms, and the brand’s too. You can show yours on your profile — the number, the expiry date and a copy — and brands see it marked “Added by the creator”.
Who checks it
A brand that doubts a licence shown on a profile can report it, and a forged licence is grounds for suspension.
Expiry
We remind you thirty days before the licence on your profile expires, and it hides itself on that date. Keeping a licence current is yours under the terms; Reachoro does not stop or hold work over it.
Exemptions
Some situations are carved out — promoting your own product on your own account, some government events, and an age-based carve-out. Whether one applies to you is yours to judge under the official rules; Reachoro does not review claims.
Disclosure is separate
Holding a licence does not replace labelling the post. Paid content must carry the local advertising disclosure and, where the platform provides one, its own branded-content label. Both are required — one is not a substitute for the other.
Does the licence replace a contract?
No. Advertising work needs a written contract between the brand and the creator, and holding a Mawthooq licence does not stand in for one. Nothing is filed with the licence authority — the contract is between the two parties, and Reachoro files nothing on your behalf. The agreement each side signs on a campaign here is that written record.
